9/23/2021 - When did this all start for me? Looking back to the beginning.
I have always loved Math and structure. I organize my French fries from longest to shortest because I want a bite of my Cheeseburger with fries and this allows me to gauge how many i can have per bite. I also think that somewhere inside i have a desire to “know” all of the information that is available to me at any time for any reason before I can move forward with a solid decision. Its not required but if its available and the time exists without hindering outcome, then I will do it. I think some part of me also wants to control the controllable.
I also have a deep love of History, we have all heard the “Doomed to repeat it” saying and again the more i can know the better i can make predictions, estimates and decisions.
When these are combined - I am in heaven. The History of Mathematics. The ideas that fueled our progress and the discoveries made regarding the abilities of ancient civilizations… This is my “Murder Mystery” TV. Admit-tingly I am a Tuber - I watch YouTube because I can search for exactly what I am looking for and decide how honest or accurate it is.
In 2021 a friend of mine told me about Joe Rogan’s Podcast and I had never taken the time to listen to podcasts before. I found a link to a conversation Joe had with Famed Astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson. My Wife Briana and I were heading to Austin that week to get Tattooed by an Amazing artist that was an acquaintance of ours. The trip would take the same time as the podcast interview. We took this chance to listen and I was floored by all of the things that I had heard - Realizing that these things I had learned in school are not actual facts. I had believed that when we say Gravity or Quantum or Physics or discuss astronomy etc that we knew what we were talking about and had evidence and experiment to back it all up… We Do Not. Naming something doesnt mean understanding it. It was shocking that we couldn’t understand what was going on with light - the young mills experiment. Wave Particle Duality. Quantum Physics and Newtonian Physics with Einstein and his theories… all wonderful explanations but they dont work together as in they fall apart from each end of the spectrum. From quantum to Astro these observations dont work. I began researching the crisis in cosmology. The issues with Observation and learning the Theories presented by the smartest humans on the planet throughout time.
THE COVID shutdowns had forced Colleges to produce online classes and free videos were everywhere.
I was able to now learn from the most amazing schools and the best professors from Leonard Suskind, Brian Greene, Veritasium, Minute Physics, The Physics Girl, PBS Space Time, Walter Lewin, Fermilab with Don Lincoln, 3Blue1Brown, Numberphile… These were my Teachers and I couldn’t watch these classes fast enough.
I started writing down notes and thinking about these ideas and concepts. I started hypothesizing based on the observations of others and I continued down and down and down until I was at Babylon and Gilgamesh learning about Cuneiform and the ideas of Calendars, stars, Time and Angles from the beginning - moving into Egypt and The Great Pyramids the dimensions in Cubits - reading and “Tubing” accounts of the past - ideas were everywhere and in the first part of the year in 2022 I had began using Logic to get to the root cause of certain problems we had with observations and timelines.
I began with my Idea of the “Law of Increase” we observe stars getting larger, getting hotter, getting more massive, getting brighter - then we say “but we dont know why the are getting farther faster” this doesnt line up with Einstein Theory of General Relativity.
I started looking into Edwin Hubble’s “RedShift”
Then into Newtons “Principia Mathematica” Gravity, and the Experiments done at the time. I realized he was escaping the plague much like we were in covid. He was afforded time to consider and his ideas of Gravity - were new. Johannes Keppler had a three body problem that I believed answered things in a much better way. Newton had an experiment with notes destroyed - in three rooms measuring lead on a stick measuring the twisting of a rope by a mirror backboard. With a candle in an adjacent room and a telescope in another adjacent room and with the equipment at that time was able to calculate G 6.62 x 10-8
REALLY?
Then I hear about Leibniz who submits his new math called Calculus - Newton says i invented this math years before but only told a select few friends… REALLY? Then why not put it in Principia - it would have made for more eloquent formulas and explanations of his principles of mathematics - He was now the head of the royal society the decision makers. Today we give newton and Leibniz credit for Calculus.. REALLY?
A Mirror in the 1700’s a telescope looking at a twisting rope on this old mirror with light from a candle a room away. A stick with two lead weights and two larger pieces of lead on the ground and he is calculating the force of Gravity at rest - to the magnitude of 6.62x10-8 this number is 0000000662
This was calculated and this is what he claimed Keppler needed to add to his three bodies the force (minuscule) as Big G -
This force that doesnt matter until you calculate it for massive objects - then the observations will line up? Except today at the end of our telescopes nothing matches it…
Naming a Force “Gravity” has nothing to do with knowing what is really happening…
So what is it?
What causes my pen to fall to the ground - what if we didn’t use these words at all?
After all humans invented language too - Physics is naming an observation so we can all agree -

Newton forced himself into a position of importance when faced with plague and rose to the top - he would do anything to remain there- an unprovable minuscule amount for the term Gravity and notes from an experiment long gone - forcing the addition of this tiny number into the world and today its included in Einsteins theories - along with red shift.
Do you know how many things we have names for that we call a CONSTANT
What is a constant?
A number we use to make something fit so we give it a name but we dont know why it exists we dont know what it is.
From 1/137 the Cosmological constant to big G and Red Shift.
Constants are the problems not the solutions.
Lets assume we know nothing but observation and lets start back at the beginning I would love to say “Start back at one” but the beginning is actually “a Unit”
Zero doesn’t exist because it can not represent any amount so the term I will use is NULL
And our idea of ONE (1) is off in a few ways -
ONE UNIT is 3 points in space and Time
1 is 3
2 is 6
3 is 9

I’m getting ahead of myself -
Let me discuss cuneiform first and HOW the ancients calculated things like “Pythagorean triples” to amounts that we can barely do better than using modern computers - :These people supposedly didn’t have wheels yet” They also have a Flood Story that is almost exact to the Noah story in todays bibles.
They created the star calendar - they invented angles and 360 degrees and they had an idea for Pi that was perfect - we claim to know how cuneiform BASE 60 math works through translations but we have a kings list that would assume kings lived for hundreds of years like Noah etc.
